Minimum
Stay Periods
Bookings
are normally only accepted for a minimum of 5 nights in low seasons,
and a minimum of 7 nights in Holidays and high seasons. Shorter
stays may be possible, depending on availability, but will incur
an additional cleaning fee.
Check
In/Out
Earliest
check in time to our property is at 4pm and latest check-out time
is 11am.
There
will be an additional charge for early check in/late check out.
This is only permitted if there is no subsequent customer arrival
on that day and is restricted to within the same day of your last
day. An additional night will be charged if the property is not
vacated by 6pm (subject to availability). This requirement will
need to be requested in advance of the booking.
Key
Pick Up
Keys
will be located in a coded mail box at the property. Details of
the code will be notified when full payment is made and cleared.
Security
Deposit
Upon
arrival (or the next working day thereafter), the guest will need
to provide details of his/her Visa, MasterCard, or American Express
to the offices of our Management Company, The Florida Store. (You
will find details in the villa when you arrive.) No charge is
made to the credit card unless there are damages to the assigned
property. Alternatively, a cash security deposit of (currently)
US$250 per stay can be accepted. In this instance, the refund
cheque will be posted to the guest a few days after their departure,
following the final inspection.
Payment
Methods
Both
deposit and final payment are currently accepted with either Personal
Cheque or Bankers Draft. Final Payment is due 60 days (8 weeks)
before the proposed arrival date or, if the booking is made less
than 10 weeks prior to the arrival date, full payment will be
required on confirmation of booking.
If
preferred, or if the arrival date is imminent, then payment may
be made via PayPal. There is a 3% surcharge for payments using
this method, to offset the charges incurred by the owner.
Deposit
A
non-refundable deposit of 10% is required to secure a booking
(this will be deducted from the total amount due). (See above
for separate arrangements if booking is made less than 10 weeks
prior to arrival.)
If
a booking is made 12 months or more in advance of arrival, an
interim payment may be required and the initial deposit requested
could be more than 10% of the full amount.
Cancellation Policy
To
cancel the booking, the Lead Name on the booking form must write,
using Recorded Delivery, to the address on the booking form. Verbal
or telephone cancellations will not be accepted. (Please note:
the initial 10% deposit is non-refundable.)
The
closer your cancellation is to the arrival date, the less likely
it is that we can re-book the villa. Our cancellation charges
therefore increase the nearer it is to the arrival date. If you
have to cancel for a reason covered by your insurance policy,
you should be able to recover your cancellation charges.
Cancellations
made between 60 & 28 days of the proposed arrival date will
receive a 50% refund, less the deposit and any expenses incurred.
Cancellations
made 28 days or less prior to the arrival date will be charged
in full. No-shows will also be charged in full.
Terms
& Conditions of Booking
Once
a booking has been made, the Customer agrees to abide by the rules
and legislation in reference to our villa.
The
customer agrees that the owners of this property are indemnified
against suits or claims of any guest in reference to damaged,
lost, stolen or destroyed personal belongings. We STRONGLY recommend
that all guests purchase travel insurance to include personal
belongings.
The
customer agrees that the owners of this property are indemnified
against any and all injuries to occupants, family members, or
guests occurring on or about the premises.
The
customer agrees that the owners of this property are indemnified
against any disruption to their vacation through 'acts-of-god'
(inclement weather etc.).
